  The THINK TO WRITE program developed by Dr. Tudor is best understood by reading the chapters descriptions .

Chapter One:  Teach thought organization models

  • Cause & Effect are thoughts developed best to respond to writing or thinking about hurricanes, current events, scientific inquiries
  • Classification are thoughts developed best when responding to writing or thinking about one's history, species of animals, or very being
  • Sequence are thoughts developed best when responding to writing or thinking about recipes, directions, or experiments

Chapter Two:  Teach thought development through CLOZE technique

  • Basic concept is that if every fifth word in any text is eliminated, the reader's mind has to fill in the missing fifth word thereby developing their thinking skills
  • CLOZE which is used to have the reader 'close' the gap in the thought has been proven to improve thinking
  • Thinkers are better thought writers since they have more thoughts to use in their compositions
